A proposal for optomechanical bichromatic wavelength switching for two-color up-conversion application

This study focuses on the Optomechanical bichromatic wavelength switching system as an indirect two-color up-conversion process that relies optical force and nanorod scattering effects. is used to control light coupling between four parallel waveguides made of silicon nitride (Si3N4) which form two identical parts. The with 0.5 µm × cross-section 220 lengths are suspended a silica (SiO2) substrate embedded array square (Si) nanorods. By mid-IR plane wave illumination, light, different intensities wavelengths nanorods, would increase result in improvement attractive gradient exerted waveguides. Via bending toward each other, caused by force, visible lights, probe signals, propagating first waveguide section couple adjacent waveguide. Simulation results reveal when distance equilibrium position 100 nm intensity 1.28 mW/µm2 total occur situations: 1- 4.5 µm, 713 transmitted output, 2- 3 609 output. In case 1.92 pN/µm needed bend 9 second one, 6 for coupling. efficiency coupled %88.6 injection %96.5 injection.
